Cycling TOP´s

September was exeptional month, with warm days, ideal for outside sporty activities. We were enjoying new cycling paths which were finished around Tolmezzo, but two top trips were dedicated to daddy. First one was the "Panoramica Mt. Crostis" which was avoided (un)fortunately for this year of Giro d´Italia due to security reasons. This is the highest road in Julia Alps, with breath taking views, 14km climbing and 5km cutting edge "panoramic sliding" which then turns down back to valley for quick downhill ride. Second one is the "nightmare" of Giro and all bikers coming to Italy. "Gate to the hell", how is named by locals, probably most difficult climbing road in Europe, Mt. Zoncolan. Shorter, "only" 10km, but killing hill, with 20-22% elevation on max, and no stage to draw a deep breath. Here are some snapshots from cell phone and profiles of the roads to be remembered.
